POINTS TO KEEP IN MIND

WE HAVE A FEW EASY POINTS TO FOLLOW WHEN SENDING US YOUR RADIO FOR REPAIR….

1.  PLEASE DO YOUR VERY BEST TO CONFIRM YOUR   RADIO IS THE PROBLEM and NOT THE AIRCRAFT RACK OR ANTENNA SYSTEM, This is very IMPORTANT as we have a minimum ESTIMATE/CHECKOUT FEE

i.e.…Make sure the Rack and Antenna System is working……usually by trying a fellow pilots Radio of the exact type and Voltage !!

There is a Minimum Service Fee…on all radios working or not…so please do your best to make sure your radio is the problem…..not the aircraft or antennas!

We find that Most Radios are repairable as long as they were in service in a working aircraft when they failed..

2. Please do not send us Junk Radios or Radios that have been tampered with……..usually these radios are NOT repairable at reasonable cost.

KX-170 and KX-170B RADIOS THAT HAVE FRONT PANEL FREQUENCY DIGITS THAT WILL NOT TURN OR FEEL STRIPPED OUT WHEN YOU TURN THE FREQUENCY DIALS ARE NOT REPAIRABLE…..YOUR BETTER OFF FINDING A REPLACEMENT RADIO.


….WE HAVE A MINIMUM LAB SERVICE/ESTIMATE  FEE OF 100.00 plus Return Shipping Fee of 49.00  on any radio we find is already working properly or NOT repairable at reasonable cost….IT TAKES A LOT OF TIME TO PROPERLY BENCH TEST A RADIO.
